At NFQ , we are expanding our presence in Global Markets technology initiatives and are looking for an FX Tech-Functional Analyst to join our team in Brasil.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology , collaborating with Front Office, Middle Office, Product Owners, and engineering teams to support and evolve FX trading platforms and related systems.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in FX markets and trading technology environments , capable of combining functional analysis, incident troubleshooting, and system integration knowledge to help deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

💼 FX Tech-Functional Analyst

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze FX trading workflows and translate business needs into functional requirements
• Support initiatives related to FX trading platforms, pricing, e-trading, and post-trade processes
• Work with Front Office, Middle Office, and Technology teams to identify system improvements
• Produce functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Support testing activities (UAT / functional validation) ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Investigate issues and support incident analysis in trading systems
• Work with API and integration teams to define data models and message structures
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate with global teams using Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery frameworks

💻 Technical Requirements

Experience

• Experience in FX Markets or Trading Technology environments

Market Knowledge

• FX products: Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDF
• Understanding of the FX trade lifecycle (pricing, quoting, booking, STP)
• Experience with trading platforms or market systems (eFX platforms, Murex, or similar)

Business Analysis

• Requirements gathering
• Writing user stories
• Process mapping

Technical Knowledge

• SQL
• API integrations (REST / JSON)
• Exposure to Java or Python for analysis, testing, or automation
• Experience working in Agile environments

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with Murex or other trading platforms
• Exposure to FIX protocol or market connectivity
• Experience supporting production trading systems
• Knowledge of e-trading platforms or liquidity aggregation
• Familiarity with market data feeds and pricing systems
• Exposure to DevOps or scripting for operational automation
• Experience in global banking environments

Availability for hybrid work (up to 3 days per week onsite in the Morumbi region).
