Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, e-commerce SaaS startup that is revolutionizing digital commerce through embedded checkouts and AI-driven integrations. This role involves building scalable microservices, improving code quality, and contributing to innovative product development in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and APIs for high-performance e-commerce solutions;
• Collaborate in product discussions, providing technical insights to shape features and architecture;
• Ensure codebase quality by implementing best practices, patterns, and continuous improvements;
• Deploy and monitor services in production environments;
• Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient and reliable deployments.

Essential Skills

• Proven professional experience in backend or full-stack development;
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js;
• Proven track record of working with microservices, APIs, and cloud-based environments;
• Live closer to Campinas-SP (RMC) since this position will be a hybrid position (at most 2-3 days per week at the office);
• Strong understanding of software design principles, testing strategies, and deployment processes;
• Proficiency in Git, Linux, and SQL;
• Familiarity with IaC, TDD, and modern development practices;
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Sonar, Honeycomb, and Cloudflare;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub;
• Experience in agile development methodologies and collaborative workflows.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) and their integration into software solutions;
• Experience with performance monitoring and observability platforms;
• Knowledge of cloud security and scalable infrastructure.
