We are looking for a full-time Senior Full Stack Developer with comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript to join the software engineering team for our US-based client.

This client saves its customers millions of dollars providing engineering services, consulting, and software for complex, global projects in the renewable energy and oil and gas industries. The clients software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions provide key performance indicators for improved business decision making and workflows enabling inventory management, failure investigation reporting, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management, product owner, and key stakeholders to gain approval of proposed architecture development plan
• Lead the development effort (may include assisting in the hiring and onboarding of additional development and QA resources to assist)
• Assure that implemented new capabilities meet the needs of the implementation team, customers, and product management
• Follow common development standards and development methodologies to assure efficiency and high performance
• Participate in team the code review process
• Work closely with backend developers to ensure the integrity of the solution
• Mentor junior developers

Required Experience

• Excellent English communication skills
• 5+ years of JavaScript software development experience
• Experience working in a .NET stack
• Experience working with jQuery, Xamarin, and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to perform unit and integration testing for comprehensive code coverage
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• A positive attitude always looking to empower the success of others
• Willingness to take ownership and find ways to unblock oneself
• Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired Experience

• University degree or relevant industry experience (optimally a technical or engineering degree)
• Experience with Knockout or other JS frameworks
• Experience with PWAs
• Experience in UI/UX Design
• Familiarity with the oil & gas industry
