We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer with strong backend expertise and solid experience in API integrations to join our team. This role will focus on building and maintaining integrations with Shopify Fulfillment Services, designing robust event-driven systems, and ensuring high reliability across distributed components.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Build internal system adapters and perform complex data mapping
• Implement webhook processing and event-driven workflows
• Design robust error handling, retry strategies, and idempotent processes
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with the team on API design, architecture decisions, and technical improvements
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues with a proactive mindset

✅ Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience with Python development
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of webhook architecture and event handling
• Experience with OAuth authentication flows
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify experience is highly preferred)
• Experience with asynchronous processing and message queues
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English communication skills

🚀 Nice to Have

• Experience working with high-volume transactional systems
• Background in distributed systems architecture
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
