job specification
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations, and you’ll oversee the management of Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams on-site and on projects.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and deploying strategies for the T&C organization at the site, but also ensure compliance with EHS standards and the continuous improvement of processes.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring customer acceptance of trains in line with contractual criteria
- Managing T&C teams and optimizing operational activities to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets
- Defining and implementing strategies for T&C organization and resource allocation
- Ensuring compliance with ISO, IRIS, and TTO certifications
- Identifying and mitigating risks early in collaboration with other teams
- Maintaining effective interfaces with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and warranty implementation
- Building critical competencies in the testing domain to address future system complexities
- Deploying group-level methods, tools, and best practices
- Ensuring adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and driving improvement plans
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- 8–10 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning of electrical, control, onboard communications, and network systems within process industries, railways, or factory automation

- Strong understanding of key electrical and/or mechanical processes (e.g., earthing & bonding, cabling, protection, and instrumentation)
- Knowledge of Test & Commissioning processes
- Ability to navigate high-risk activities associated with electrical work and EHS requirements
- Strong leadership skills with a results-driven mindset
- Proficiency in English
